SQUALO35 is the new pump by PIUSI specifically designed for submerged use for the transfer of AdBlue®/DEF.

Compact, but powerful; SQUALO35 is suitable for tanks and IBC totes of any shape and size. With a 40 cm height and 14 cm width, this centrifugal pump sits at the bottom of the tank guaranteeing suction with at least 3 cm fluid, a near-empty tank. Manufactured with materials compliant to the ISO22241 norm, it is suitable for every use, even the most demanding ones.

SQUALO 35 operates with an almost constant flow rate when functioning within the parameters of use for the system. It works up to 35 l/min max guaranteeing the same flow of AdBlue®/DEF with any type of component installed in the system. (*) This is thanks to a pressure regulating system that optimizes the performance and reduces energy consumption.

THE SECRET CORE OF THE SQUALO35

The submersible pump SQUALO35 has a technologically innovative core:

• a regenerative turbine with delivery check valve, 2 pole induction motor with thermal protection; all incapsulated in a watertight shell;
• an innovative integrated pressure regulating system that optimizes performance in terms
• of flow-rate, flow consistency, and precision during delivery;
• timer for an automatic shut-off every 7 minutes;
• a stainless-steel filter to protect the pump from contaminants in the fluid.

This submersible electric pump is activated by a float when the AdBlue®/DEF reaches a certain height. Then, once activated the pump transforms electrical energy into kinetic energy: the turbine, which is activated by this energetic transfer, conveys the force to the fluid, transforming the kinetic energy in pressure, and pushing the fluids upwards.
