The dramatic moment we are living leads us to reflect on our present time. First of all, we are an Italian Company and our heart, as well as our roots, are deeply rooted in the territory. But we are much more. We are a Family; a group of people that work with responsibility, commitment and passion every day.
And today, we have put all our passion and dedication into a very important project that we support enthusiastically: we are working side by side with Mares (Rapallo, Genova) for 3D printing of special valves that allows conversion of full-face snorkeling masks produced by the Ligurian Company into Cpap respirators for the Italian Sub-Intensive Departments for all patients suffering from Covid-19.
We are proud to have been able to make our technology available for the health and well-being of all of us. On April 1st, we sent to Mares the 160 valves required. A dedicated production, following the technical drawing of the Ligurian Company, of valves that fully suit the masks in production.
PIUSI is part of a network of 10 companies with the same 3D HP technology (Pa12) that decided to take part in this initiative. It excites us and we are proud of the opportunity to contribute to the health of many people during the dramatic moment we are facing. We did it with the same passion we put every day in our work.
Also, we are glad to say that thanks to the support of all PIUSI people, we have been able to sustain the Carlo Poma Hospital in Mantua and the Lombardy Region at the forefront of this battle that we will win being united and cohesive. We have grown up, as a Company as well as people, in an important social and economic context. Today, we strongly believe that it is fundamental to support our territory that has been so severely hit.
We will be back soon, stronger than before. This completely dramatic experience will leave a deep mark in our lives. But it will give us the strength to overcome all difficulties as we have always done.
